                                              CCRC’s EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • •
Dr. Michael Olenick (President & CEO) has been CCRC’s President & CEO since 2004. He oversees all programs and services provided to over 50,000 children and families each month in a service area spanning 22,500 square miles. For more than three decades, he has served on numerous boards and committees at the county, state, and national level and is Past President of Child Care Aware of America and California Child Care Resource & Referral Network (CCRRN). Michael obtained his master's degree from the Erikson Institute and PhD from UCLA.
Ellen Cervantes (Vice President & Chief Operating Officer) has extensive experience in non-profit management and oversees the direct service work of the agency which includes its three core businesses: Head Start, Child Care Financial Assistance, and Resource & Referral/Child Development. Ellen was also the driving force behind CCRC's Early Head Start and a variety of grant projects. She earned a Master's in Social Work from UC Berkeley and still maintains her life’s vision to make the world a better place.
Denise Trinh (Chief Financial Officer) oversees all segments and functions related to the agency, including financial reporting, general accounting, and purchasing. As a member of CCRC's leadership team, she contributes to the overall organizational planning, policy development, and implementation. She is a Certified Public Accountant, holds a BA from UCLA, and is a member of the AICPA and the California Society of CPAs.
Shirley Cameron (Vice President of Human Resources) manages the human resource function for all 750 CCRC employees with its 25 locations. She leads the strategic direction and execution of organizational development, employee relations, staffing, training, benefits, budget, safety/workers compensation, and employee records. Shirley earned a BA in Child Development from California State University, Northridge.
